During an intense month Conexión África has organised several conferences focused on investment, digitalisation and trade relations between Africa and the Canary Islands. All the activities have focused on strengthening business capacities, expanding markets and exploring new alliances.

On 25 September, the session "Africa: investment in talent and development", organised by IBAFCAN together with CEOE and the Government of the Canary Islands, was held in Tenerife. Entrepreneurs and institutions from both continents analysed how to adapt vocational training to respond to the real needs of the African market.

On 2 October, under the #Tenerife+Global programme, a forum on internationalisation financing was held. Navin Khemlani moderated a panel with representatives from CaixaBank, Banco Santander, Cajasiete and Proexca, who presented financial tools available for SMEs interested in expanding abroad.

On 8 October, at #CanariasExpande, Alejandro Rueda Valido and Navin Khemlani demonstrated practical applications of artificial intelligence for small and medium-sized businesses. Demonstrations included customer acquisition strategies, competitive analysis and digital optimisation of local businesses.

The African Development Bank's report places Senegal as a booming economy, thanks to the recent start of oil and gas production. Growth is expected to be close to 10 % by 2025. Although its debt is close to GDP, it maintains good inflation and macroeconomic stability.

Senegal is preparing "Senegal 2050", a plan that is committed to industrialisation, modern infrastructures and clean energy. Spain, and the Canary Islands in particular, is emerging as a key ally in cooperation in education, transport, fishing and technical training.

Finally, a new episode of "Voices of Africa" has been recorded, combining gastronomy, tradition and the migrant experience in an intimate story. It will soon be available on platforms such as YouTube, Spotify and iVoox, continuing the commitment to give voice to the cultural bridge between continents.
