The NGO Kutembea na Tanzania, whose name in Kiswahili means "Walking with Tanzania", celebrates its tenth anniversary of activity in 2025. Officially founded in April 2016, although with its first steps in 2015 supporting a small school in Arusha, the organisation works with respect for local communities, promoting educational and employment projects for people in vulnerable situations. Since its beginnings, Casa África has been a meeting and support space for the organisation, hosting various presentations and meetings related to its work.

The commemorative programme began today in Casa África's Nelson Mandela Auditorium with a talk-exhibition led by the president of the NGO, Amalia López. During the event, the achievements of these ten years were reviewed and new initiatives were presented that seek to continue supporting the women of the Tanzanian village of Mto wa Mbu. The projects include training in different economic activities such as making clothes with African fabrics, handicrafts, livestock and agriculture, with the aim of facilitating their integration into the labour market and economic autonomy.
