Accra has just added a new attraction to its cultural offerings with the opening of the Despite Automobile Museum, Ghana's first automobile museum. Located in East Legon, the space exhibits a carefully curated collection of classic vehicles, exclusive models and authentic motoring gems, making it a point of reference for car lovers and the curious who wish to delve into the history of the automobile.

The inauguration has aroused great expectation on social networks, where users highlight both the spectacular nature of the vehicles and the pending challenge of boosting local production. Although many are celebrating the arrival of this unprecedented museum in the country, others are taking the opportunity to recall the importance of developing an automotive industry of its own in Ghana and Africa. In the meantime, the Despite Automobile Museum promises to be an essential meeting point for residents and tourists in search of different experiences in the Ghanaian capital.
