Campus África, del 12 al 25 de julio en la ULL.
Campus Africa, from 12 to 25 July at the ULL.

The University of La Laguna is launching a new edition of Campus Africa, an international programme promoted together with the Canary Islands Foundation for the Control of Tropical Diseases. The initiative, of an educational and informative nature, is mainly aimed at people with higher education, although it remains open to any profile interested in the future of the African continent and its relationship with the island environment.

Under the slogan "African migrations: myths, realities and challenges", this year's programme will address three main themes: migratory flows in Africa and their causes, the impact of poverty-related diseases and the cultural dynamics arising from contact between communities. The proposal seeks to generate critical reflection and applied knowledge from a multidisciplinary approach.

Campus Africa maintains its open and free vocation, except for the practical activities that require specific requirements. The courses are endorsed by the ULL and allow ECTS credits to be obtained in transversal training. Prior registration is required for those who wish to obtain a certificate of participation, which is conditional on active attendance at most of the sessions.
