The Kosmos Innovation Center has launched the 2025 edition of the Mauritania Innovation Challenge (MIC), a competition that seeks to boost local business projects through seed capital and specialised training. The initiative is aimed at Mauritanian entrepreneurs aged between 18 and 40 who work in teams of at least two people, are fluent in Arabic or French and can devote 72 hours over three months to training sessions.

Successful applicants will receive intensive mentoring and the possibility of funding to get their startup off the ground. The deadline to apply is 31 July at 23:59 GMT, and the application can be completed by here.

Two MIC 2022 winners highlight that rigorous preparation and collaborative work were key to their success, and invite applicants to take advantage of this opportunity to take their projects to the next level.
