Our Africa is a fascinating paradise! The cradle of human civilization, it’s our continent of abundant riches and wealth, not only in resources, but in history, culture, language, religion, food, innovation and resilient spirit. Spanning from the sun-scorched Sahel region to the lush rainforest of the Central Africa, from the diverse vast savanna of the region to the vibrant Coasts of the Atlantic and Indian Oceans, Africa’s hospitable Geography recipes a story of resilience, remembrance, beauty and circle of possibilities. Located strategically at the center of global geography, Our Africa connects other continents, but its greatest wealth lies not in its location, minerals or wildlife, but with its people and identity. With well over 1.4 billion individuals with more than 2,000 languages and dialects, Our Africa is a tapestry of groundbreaking traditions, knowledge, strength and indigenous ingenuity. Our Africa is the home to the world’s youngest population, a powerful demographic force shaping disruptive development, policy and change across borders.

Our Africa is not just a continent of only black people; it’s multicultural home for all colors and ethnicities. From Lagos to Nairobi, Kigali to Accra, African cities are emerging as indomitable tech hubs, fostering startups and innovations that are solving global challenges. Africa leads in different areas of pioneering health innovations, and community-based models for various studies. The social progress is evident. More girls are in school, youth positive action for change is reshaping governance gradually in some parts of the continent. Its approach to climate change has been proactive and goal oriented for the environment, farmers and mostly community centered and it is prioritizing renewable energy and indigenous knowledge systems that offer solutions to local needs pedaling transformation. Culturally, Our Africa continues to illuminate the world with its fashion, music, art and literature, such as the Afrobeats, the Nollywood as one of the world’s largest film entertainments. These are not just the usual entertainment, but portraits of hope, originality, dreams and dedication.

Globally, our Africa is becoming the center of knowledge production, generation and utilization in social and academic spheres- universities and research institutions from the global north increasingly visit Africa, not for tourist session but as a source of knowledge, partnership and learning from Africa.

Our Africa is the Future of the world and it no mean land; it is already happening before our own eyes. So confident and co- creating change makers, well connected from home to diaspora and vice versa redefining leading, building more dignified heritage for all. This is Our Africa, my Africa, your Africa- very dynamic, ancestral and undeniably homeland for the global future.
