Programmes and grants European Union

The European Union (EU) and its agencies offer various programmes and support for the integration, employment and welfare of migrants, including those from Africa. Some of the main initiatives and relevant contacts are listed below:

    • Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF): Provides financial assistance to Member States for the integration of migrants and asylum seekers. For more information, please visit AMIF.
    • European Social Fund (ESF): It promotes the social inclusion and employment of vulnerable groups, including immigrants: ESF.
    • Fund for European Aid to the Most Deprived (FEAD)Provides basic assistance to people in extreme need. More information at: FEAD.
    • Education and employment projects: Initiatives such as Erasmus+ and Science4Refugees support education and training for migrants, including specific job opportunities for refugees with an academic background.
    • European Union Asylum Agency (EUA): Provides training and technical support to national asylum authorities. Official website: EUAEA.
    • European Migration Network: It provides technical advice and good practices for the integration of migrants: Migration Network.
    • The Single Permit Directive simplifies obtaining work and residence permits in the EU.
    • The EU Talent Fund facilitates international recruitment by matching migrants with employers in Europe.

These tools are designed to facilitate the social, economic and cultural inclusion of migrants in EU countries, and I recommend contacting local migration agencies or consulates for country-specific information.

To be taken into account

We inform about training, opportunities and job offers published periodically by the different administrations aimed at immigrants from Africa; as well as specific companies that maintain updated information and are governed by the labour regulations of each European country.

If you have any questions about the information we provide, you can send an email to hello@welcomeafrica.com.
welcome Africa

Each country has its own labour regulations and its own employment conditions for immigrants. You should check for such offers depending on your situation, where you are and the immigration procedures you have already completed.
