CEIP Secundino Delgado in Santa Cruz de Tenerife will develop during the current school year the innovative project "Teaching Africa. Una Mirada en Positivo", within the RED CANARIA-INNOVAS programme.
From the area of Music, they announce that they will explore the evolution of African music, from its traditional instruments and songs to contemporary expressions such as urban Afro Dance.
This project aims not only to teach and raise awareness of Africa's cultural richness, but also to encourage a respectful and positive view of a continent full of history, creativity and transformation.
To carry out the initiative, this school has the collaboration of Radio Escolar and Croma, which has participated in the editing of the first video of the project.
