American youtuber Drew Binsky, known for having visited all 197 countries recognised by the UN, has highlighted his special admiration for Africa, a continent he has travelled to in depth. Of his 54 countries, he reveals his three favourites for their cultural richness, unique landscapes and unforgettable experiences.

For Drew Binsky, Africa is a continent full of hidden treasures, vibrant cultures and breathtaking natural scenery. Through his travels, he seeks to inspire others to go beyond the usual tourist destinations and discover the extraordinary things the world - and especially the African continent - has to offer.

Tanzania

Tanzania ranks first for Drew. He has visited four times and says he always discovers something new. Fascinated by its landscapes and culture, he highlights his experience with the Hadzabe, the last hunter-gatherer tribe on the continent. He also visited the Serengeti National Park, witnessed the great zebra and wildebeest migration, and explored the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa's seven natural wonders. He also climbed Kilimanjaro and enjoyed the beaches of Zanzibar. "If you could only visit one country in Africa, make it Tanzania," he recommends.

Ethiopia

Second is Ethiopia, which Drew has visited nine times. He is fascinated by its cultural and religious diversity, where Islam and Christianity have coexisted since the 4th century. He highlights the rock-hewn churches in Tigray, as well as cities such as Harar and Dire Dawa. He also praises its food and coffee: "Ethiopia has the best food in Africa and the best coffee in the world.

Namibia

Binsky's list closes with Namibia, the second least densely populated country in the world. Its vast desert landscapes and dunes that meet the sea make it a destination like no other. Drew visited places such as Etosha National Park, Windhoek and Sossusvlei. He also spent time with the Himba tribe, highlighting the value of their traditions.
