Actor Idris Elba returns to Ghana for new projects in Accra

British actor and filmmaker Idris Elba has returned to Ghana, where he has been able to express his gratitude, enthusiasm and inspiration after a series of significant meetings and engagements, BVNews reports on his Instagram account.

During his visit, Elba met with former President John Mahama, His Royal Majesty King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II and some of the most promising young talent from the National Film and Television Institute (NAFTI).

With plans underway to set up a film studio and a world-class training school in Accra, Elba is establishing himself as a key figure in the development and strengthening of Africa's entertainment industry.

The actor underlined his commitment to these initiatives by stating: "We came here with a vision. Now we move forward with a purpose.
