Carnival 2025: Secrets of Africa

The Carnival from Santa Cross from Tenerife 2025 will have as subject Secrets from Africa. At this address, the Association The FET, organiser from Festival Africamía, at sum at event with on project SIMB, inspired at on rite Senegalese from the False Lions, a tradition from costumes y drums with deep roots cultural.

Thank you a the funding from Cabildo from Tenerife y at support from various institutions, SIMB will bring a the island a recognised artists Senegalese, at line with the Objectives from Development Sustainable from the UN. Also will promote on crossbreeding cultural y the cooperation with the centres educational premises, including the training with the designer Senegalese Monica d‘Almeida.

Aspects highlights from the activity:

26 from February: Gala from election from the Queen from Carnival (Enclosure Fair).
27 from February: Inauguration from the exhibition photographic SIMB from Pierre Laborde (MUNA).
28 from February: Parade from advertisements.
1 from March: Workshops SIMB from dance, costumes y make-up (MUNA).
4 from March: Coso.

The Museum from Nature y Archaeology (MUNA) will be on scenario ideal for the exhibition y the workshops, by its location centrally located y its commitment with the culture. SIMB – The False Lions will enrich on Carnival 2025 with a tradition african only, approaching a the citizens from Tenerife a new expressions cultural.
