Presentation of diplomas from the Tierra Firme programme.

On 28 May, the Théâtre National Daniel Sorano in Dakar was the venue for the closing ceremony of the second edition of the Tierra Firme programme. The ceremony brought together institutional authorities, youth employment specialists and the project's protagonists: more than 200 young Senegalese who received their diplomas after successfully completing technical training and internships in local companies.

During the day, the positive impact of the programme on youth employability and the strengthening of the socio-economic fabric of the region was underlined. The participants' testimonies reflected not only the learning acquired, but also a renewed confidence in their professional future.

Promoted by the Government of the Canary Islands in alliance with the Chamber of Commerce of Senegal, Tierra Firme is consolidated as a key initiative to promote decent and sustainable jobs in West Africa, with the support of multiple institutional and technical partners. A full report of the event will be published on the official website in the coming days.
