"En Portada" dedicated a programme to the Lobito runner.

The programme "En Portada", hosted by Lorenzo Milá on RTVE, aired a report entitled "Bienvenido, Míster Lobito" (Welcome, Mister Lobito), which delves into the global battle for the resources of the future. The report analyses how the world's major powers are strategically positioning themselves to control the key minerals that underpin both the technological revolution and the energy transition, with the Lobito Corridor as one of the most coveted enclaves.

These materials, essential for sectors such as artificial intelligence, electric vehicles and defence, have become the focus of a high-voltage geopolitical struggle. With demand for these materials set to quadruple in the next two decades, according to international estimates, the report invites us to reflect on the interests at stake and the global consequences of this new race to dominate resources.
