Michael Mays is already playing in the Rwandan league.

Michael Mays, a former Ciudad de Huelva player, has started a successful period in African basketball. After his time in LEB Plata, the American shooting guard has become the great reference of Tigers BBC in the Rwandan league (RBL), where he has already made his mark in his debut scoring 29 points and leading his team in a convincing victory against Kepler.

His signing for the Rwandan team was the result of the vision of Javier Castilla and the sports management of Antonio Gómez, who had already detected his talent during CDH's brief period in the silver category of Spanish basketball. Despite his great ability as a shooter, the Huelva club did not manage to take advantage of his full potential off the court.

Now, Mays not only shines in sporting terms, but also in financial terms: his salary in Africa far exceeds what he received in Huelva, multiplying his monthly income by more than twenty times. Another example of how some talents find their true dimension away from the usual spotlight.
