Egypt has signed an agreement with the Chinese company Xinfeng to develop a modern metallurgical complex with an investment of $1.65 billion. This ambitious project, announced by the Ministry of Trade and Industry, represents a milestone in economic cooperation between the two countries.

The plan is to be implemented in two phases over five years and will be strategically located in the Suez Canal Economic Zone. This choice seeks to strengthen the region's industrial infrastructure and stimulate economic growth.

The partnership reflects the growing trade relationship between Egypt and China, generating mutual benefits and contributing to regional development. In addition, the project is expected to attract strong interest from international investors and players who see the Suez Canal area as a key location for the global economy.
