Africa, one of the continents of the world with one and a half million inhabitants and 30 million km², among whose countries is Côte d’Ivoire, home of Didier Drogba, hosted and organised in 2023–2024 the CAN (Africa Cup of Nations). Several personalities from Africa and elsewhere came to attend this event.

This happy event took place in four major cities: Yamoussoukro, Bouaké, Sassandra and finally Abidjan, the economic capital known as “the pearl of the lagoons” due to its unique location around the Ébrié Lagoon. This city is home to two large stadiums.

The Félix Houphouët-Boigny Stadium and the Ebimpé Stadium, where the final of this beautiful CAN was held. It unfolded without major incident, in an atmosphere of friendliness and enthusiasm, and this competition ended brilliantly with the victory of the host country.

It was a beautiful CAN – one must believe in Africa.
