The Hospiten Group has consolidated its commitment to Plastic, Reconstructive and Cosmetic Surgery by incorporating the latest medical technology and a team of highly qualified specialists. This approach allows us to offer patients a comprehensive, personalised and safe service, both in reconstructive and cosmetic procedures.

According to the definition of the Spanish Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (SECPRE), this speciality deals with the correction of congenital, acquired, tumoural or simply involutive alterations that affect the shape or function of the body. Hospiten has developed an advanced medical offer that includes an exhaustive diagnosis, individualised surgical planning and rigorous post-operative follow-up.

‘From the first consultation, the surgeon is the one who directly assesses the patient and determines, using medical criteria, whether their situation requires surgery or not’, explains Dr. María Dolores Balsalobre Aznar, a specialist in Plastic, Reconstructive and Cosmetic Surgery at the Hospiten Rambla University Hospital. This closeness to the patient is part of the group's commitment to person-centred medicine.

Among the most popular procedures are rhinoplasties, mammoplasties, otoplasties, body contouring surgeries, facelifts and blepharoplasties. However, the medical team is also prepared to deal with complex pathologies such as congenital malformations or craniofacial trauma, combining specialised surgical knowledge with high-precision diagnostic and treatment tools.

The technology applied, together with strict safety protocols, guarantees not only effective results but also optimum recovery. ‘Our aim is to improve the patient's image, but also their confidence, self-esteem and quality of life,’ says Dr Benjamín González, a specialist at Hospiten Bellevue and Hospiten Sur hospitals. The group's Plastic Surgery unit is distinguished by the search for natural results and continuous care that minimises risks and maximises wellbeing.

With more than 55 years of experience, Hospiten is today an international hospital network present in Spain, the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Jamaica and Panama. It currently treats more than three million patients a year and continues to expand, with the forthcoming opening of a university hospital in Boadilla del Monte, scheduled for 2026. Plastic surgery, integrated into this global vision of advanced medicine, has become one of the key areas of its healthcare offering.
