Rwanda has managed to position itself as one of the African countries with the lowest crime rates, thanks to a stable political environment and a culture of hospitality. This climate of security has favoured the growth of tourism, attracting thousands of visitors each year interested in discovering its natural wealth and growing modernisation.

Many tourists report positive experiences after their stay in the country, highlighting the cleanliness of the cities, the friendliness of the people and the diversity of attractions, from the national parks to the nightlife in Kigali. However, some online comments also point to political challenges and tensions with neighbouring countries, but without tarnishing the general perception of Rwanda as an example of development and security on the continent.
