Ghanaian Bernard Mensah has built a distinguished international career, becoming one of the leading figures in the global financial sector. His career began without privileges or influential connections, relying instead on academic training, discipline, and personal effort.

Mensah earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Sciences from the University of Bristol in the UK before qualifying as a Chartered Accountant. She subsequently spent part of her career at Goldman Sachs, holding positions in London, Hong Kong, and Tokyo.

In 2010, he joined Bank of America, where he currently serves as President of International Business and CEO of Merrill Lynch International. On April 28, he participated in a conference in Singapore, where he discussed the impact of artificial intelligence on business strategy.

In March of this year, he sold 94,000 shares valued at $4.41 million, although he retained a significant stake in the company. In addition to his financial activities, Mensah is involved in development initiatives through the Kofi Annan Foundation and The King's Trust International, fostering opportunities for new generations of professionals.
