Onda Cero: Music, memory and restorative justice

This Sunday, on the occasion of Africa Day, the radio station Onda Cero commemorates the celebration with a special programme that invites us to listen to the continent through its sounds. "Music journalist Miguel Tébar guides us on a journey through songs that not only celebrate Africa's cultural richness, but also invite us to reflect on its history, its struggles and its legacy," according to the station's website. Under the motto of this year's African Union - "Justice for Africans and people of African descent through reparations" - we address collective memory, the demand for historical reparations and current migration issues, without losing sight of the key role of organisations such as UNHCR, CEAR and Caritas. A sound proposal that connects music, justice and dignity.
